Our professional consulting parameters span multi-jurisdictional criteria. We routinely deliver environmental advice and historical planning reports mapped cleanly to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) guidelines for English councils and the protection thresholds of Historic England—coordinating structural site files within prominent historic districts across **London, Bath, York, and Chester**, alongside primary consulting operations throughout Scotland.

1. Professional Consulting Services & Proposal Precedence

JW Heritage Consulting provides professional historical asset appraisals, including Heritage Impact Assessments (HIA), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), and Cultural Heritage Management Plans. Before any professional engagement or work commences, we will issue an independent, customized Service Proposal (incorporating a project brief, timeline, and fee structure) directly to the client.

1.2 Scope Limitations & Variations

Any work requested by the client that falls outside the explicitly defined scope of the agreed Service Proposal (including but not limited to additional historical research, extra site visits, additional virtual or physical meetings, or redesign support) will be deemed a "Variation". Variations will be subject to supplementary pricing, calculated dynamically based on the technical complexity, academic specialist demands, and resource allocation of the project as determined exclusively by JW Heritage Consulting. No such Variation works will commence until a formal written Addendum or revised Fee Agreement has been executed by both parties.

1.3 Amendment & Revision Policy

Unless explicitly overridden by an individual Service Proposal, our standard consulting fees include up to one (1) round of minor textual revisions per deliverable, provided the request is made in writing within fourteen (14) business days of the initial draft's transmission. Any revisions requested outside of this window, subsequent rounds of amendments, or requests that represent a material alteration to the agreed project layout are strictly billable as Variations.

1.4 Deliverable Acceptance & Payment Release

Milestone payments and final project fees are directly tied to the completion of original deliverables as outlined in the initial Service Proposal. Clients are strictly prohibited from withholding, offsetting, or delaying the release of milestone payments due to pending or requested Variations. Furthermore, if a client fails to provide written feedback or requests for minor revisions on a submitted draft within fourteen (14) business days of its transmission, the deliverable shall be deemed "Accepted" by the client, and all outstanding payments associated with that milestone will immediately become due and payable.

2. Intellectual Property & Brand Assets

The content, layout, graphics, text, and technical reports displayed on this website are the property of JW Heritage Consulting and are protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws.

3. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To ensure the accurate delivery of our assessments, clients must provide complete, honest, and timely access to property parameters, historic documentation, site boundaries, and project guidelines. We accept no liability for consulting delays or assessment errors caused by incomplete or withheld client specifications.

5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, your use of our website, and any professional consulting disputes arising from our services shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any legal actions or proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

6. Changes to these Terms
